Landscape Park Duisburg North LaPaDu

LaPaDu ist ein Landschaftspark rund um ein stillgelegtes Hüttenwerk in Duisburg - Meiderich und definitiv eine meiner Lieblingslocations.

Ich mag diesen etwas ursprünglichen Park, der an manchen Stellen etwas verwildert aussieht. Und mittendrin die stillgelegte Industrieanlage, die langsam vor sich hinrostet und wo sich die Natur ihren Platz wieder zurück erobert.

Das Gelände ist sehr weitläufig und ich entdecke bei jedem Besuch etwas neues. Und immer wieder begeistert mich die nächtliche Beleuchtung. Ich erinnere mich noch genau als ich das erste Mal dort war. Als es langsam dunkel wurde sah man um einen der Türme einen farbigen Leuchtring. Wir sahen uns etwas ratlos an, nett, aber das kann ja wohl nicht alles sein. Dann eben mal ein paar Meter laufen, um die Ecke gehen - und einfach nur noch "wow". Seitdem schleppe ich ins LaPaDu eigentlich immer ein Stativ mit.

I like this somewhat original park, which looks a bit wild in some places. And in the middle of it, the abandoned industrial plant, which slowly rustles and where nature conquers its place back.

The terrain is very spacious and I discover something new with each visit. And again and again the night lighting inspires me. I remember exactly when I first got there. When it was getting dark, you could see a colored light ring around one of the towers. We looked a bit helpless, nice, but that can not be everything. Then just run a few meters, go around the corner - and just "wow". Since then I always carry a tripod with me to the LaPaDu.
