Fantastic lights Christmas market

Meiner Meinung nach der schönste aller Weihnachtsmärkte. Zum einen ist der Fredenbaumpark in Dortmund sowieso eine wundervolle Location. Wenn dann noch mit viel Arbeit und Liebe der ganze Park und vor allem der See mit Lichtern geschmückt ist, ergibt das eine einzigartige Atmosphäre. Ich fühle mich da immer ein bisschen wie im Märchenland.

Dass die Veranstaltung trotzdem ein Mittelaltermarkt ist, kommt mir natürlich auch sehr entgegen.

Der Weihnachtsmarkt findet an jedem Adventswochenende und Silvester statt. Ich hatte mich für das Wochenende entschieden, an dem mit Saltatio Mortis auch noch eine meiner Lieblingsbands auftrat. 

In my opinion, the most beautiful of all Christmas markets. For one thing, the Fredenbaumpark in Dortmund is a wonderful location anyway. When, with lots of work and love, the whole park and especially the lake are decorated with lights, this creates a unique atmosphere. I always feel a bit like in fairyland.

Of course, the fact that the event is still a medieval market is also very welcome.

The Christmas market takes place every Advent weekend and New Year's Eve. I decided on the weekend when Saltatio Mortis also played one of my favorite bands.
